In our sessions, together we can start to explore and get in touch with your feelings, and heed the wisdom that your feelings in your body have for you. You have an inner-compass which is pointing the way towards your happiness, and the point is to feel it. Often, we must learn to feel our way and become more aware of ‘being’ in our body instead of living life way up in our heads in a never-ending stream of painful or self-defeating thoughts. In coaching, this body-awareness can bring much presence into the ‘here and now’ and allow us to process our feelings in such a way as to connect with our inner-compass and restore equilibrium.
Transformational Coaching has a focus on your ‘being’.
If you just focus on changing what you are doing, then this is unproductive as it doesn’t address the source which drives what you do. Coaching will of course optimise your effectiveness at doing something and this will be the enth result of your transformation, stemming from transformation itself at a deep, core level of your being.
I personally feel that for one to truly change and transform, one must focus on their core, their ‘being.’ This is our operating system and all stems from the core of who you are including what thoughts you have, what behaviours drive you, and what values you embody. Doing flows from being, so it is the ‘being’ aspect that we address for real and transformational change.
